Welcome!

This being my first blog...ever (I feel I'm very behind the times with this), I'd like to thank anyone who ever actually follows this or at least clicks on the link. My goal in creating this blog is to share my love/knowledge of food and how it fits into Ann Arbor restaurants as well as others I travel to throughout the state and the country. Another love of mine is politics; so occasionally you're going to find a bitter rant about how close minded someone in local, state or national government is. Every once in a while, hopefully I'll post something positive where someone in public office does something that I'm proud of; that will also be shared. With working 50 hours a week at my two jobs (Bartender at Metzger's German Restaurant and Mani Osteria), taking a class at WCC this summer, and entertaining my amazing girlfriend, don't expect a post more than once every week or two. I promise to make them as entertaining as possible with in depth analysis of whatever restaurant I ate at or am craving whilst working. And when I get extremely frustrated or excited with (I'll give it away now that for the most part I'm a democrat, but being an Econ minor and soon to be major at Eastern Michigan University, I'm also fiscally intelligent), the current political environment, you'll hear all about it. Today I'm headed to Red Hawk for lunch, one of my favorite bar/restaurants in town....so good day until we meet again!
